Our nights work because everyone in the room can relax. This is what we ask of every guest, and what happens when someone does not hold up their end. It applies to all Alfa Entertainments events, alongside the venue's own house rules.
What we expect
- Respect everyone. Guests, staff, security, bar teams and performers. Disagreements are handled with words, and if that fails, with staff.
- Consent, always. No touching, following, photographing or pressuring anyone who has not clearly said yes. No means no; so does silence, and so does "maybe".
- Look after each other. If someone seems unwell, unsafe or too drunk, tell a member of staff or our team. Nobody gets in trouble for asking for help.
- Drink responsibly. Know your limit, do not drive afterwards, and do not pressure others to drink.
- Follow staff instructions. Security, bar and venue staff are there for everyone's safety. If you disagree with a decision, raise it with our team afterwards, not on the floor.
- Use the smoking areas the venue provides, and nowhere else.
- Respect the venue and the neighbourhood, especially when leaving late. Keep noise down outside and do not loiter.
What is not tolerated
- Harassment or intimidation of any kind, including sexual harassment, unwanted attention, catcalling, and comments about anyone's body, gender, sexuality, religion, caste, race, disability or appearance.
- Violence, threats, or fighting.
- Drugs of any kind, and weapons or anything that could be used as one.
- Bringing in outside alcohol.
- Photographing or filming other guests without their consent, or filming in toilets, smoking areas or any place the venue has marked as no-camera.
- Damaging property, or interfering with equipment, exits, or the performance.
- Refusing an ID or bag check, or attempting to enter after being refused.
- Any behaviour that is illegal or that staff reasonably consider unsafe for others.
ID, age and dress code
Carry valid government photo ID. Where alcohol is served the minimum age is 21 under Karnataka law and the venue will enforce it. Dress codes shown on the event page or applied by the venue are part of the conditions of entry.
Our team on the night
Alfa Entertainments staff are at every event and work with venue security. If something happens to you or you see it happen to someone else, find one of us or any member of staff. You can also report it after the event by emailing safety@alfaentertainment.in or messaging @alfa_entertainments. Reports are taken seriously and handled discreetly.
Consequences
Depending on what happened, staff may warn you, remove you from the event without refund, remove your whole party, ban you from future Alfa Entertainments events, and involve the police. Damage you cause is your responsibility to pay for. These decisions are made by staff on the night and are final for that event.
Reporting a concern afterwards
Email safety@alfaentertainment.in with the event, the date, and what happened. Include what would help you, whether that is a follow-up, a ban on someone, or simply for us to know. We respond within 3 working days.
