Alfa Entertainments events are photographed and filmed. This notice explains what we capture, how we use it, and how to stay out of it.
What we capture
Photographers and videographers working for us, and sometimes for the venue or the artists, take photographs and video during our events. This covers the crowd, the dance floor, the bar, the performers and the venue. Guests may appear in this material, usually in wide shots and rarely as the subject.
How we use it
- Recap videos and photo sets on this website and on our Instagram account.
- Promotion of future events, including in paid advertising on Instagram and Facebook.
- Material we share with the venue and the performing artists for their own promotion of the event.
We do not caption or tag guests by name, and we do not sell event photography. Material is retained for as long as it is in use; recap videos on the site may stay up for years.
If you would rather not be filmed
- On the night, tell the photographer or any member of our team. They will avoid you and remove any frame in which you are the clear subject.
- Afterwards, email privacy@alfaentertainment.in with the event, a description of yourself or the photo, and where you saw it. We will remove or blur you from material we control within 7 days. We cannot recall content that others have already shared or re-posted.
By entering an event you acknowledge that photography and filming take place and that you may appear incidentally in material used as described here. That acknowledgement does not stop you asking us to remove a particular image, and we will act on such requests.
Removal requests
We act on removal requests from anyone who is recognisable in a photo or video, and from a parent or guardian in the case of someone under 18 who should not have been at the event. We may ask for enough detail to identify the material, and we will confirm when it is done.
Your own photos
You are welcome to take photos and short videos for personal use and to share them. Do not photograph or film other guests who have not agreed to it, and never in toilets, smoking areas or any area the venue marks as no-camera. Professional cameras, lights and rigs need permission from us and the venue in advance. Recording full performances without the artist's permission is not allowed.
Performers and staff
Artists, DJs and staff appear in our material under separate agreements with them. Artist names, images and recordings remain the artists' property and are used with their permission.
