These terms govern your use of alfaentertainment.in. By using the site you agree to them. Joining a guestlist is also governed by the Guestlist Terms, and attending an event by the Code of Conduct.
Who we are and what this site is
The site is operated by Alfa Entertainments, a sole proprietorship based in Bengaluru, Karnataka ("we"). It publishes information about events we promote at partner venues in Bengaluru and lets you register for their guestlists. We are the promoter and organiser of those events; the venues are owned and operated by others.
Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old to use the site and to register for an event. By registering you confirm that you are, and that every guest you add is too.
Event information
We work to keep event pages accurate, but lineups, set times, door timings, entry pricing, venue and other details are set with our partners and can change, sometimes at short notice. The event page is the current version; where it differs from a poster, story or message, the event page prevails. Entry prices shown are the venue's indicative prices and are collected by the venue at the door unless the page says otherwise. Links to buy tickets go to a third-party ticketing platform, and that purchase is between you and it.
Guestlist registration
Registration is free and puts your party on the door list for that event. It is not a ticket and does not guarantee entry. The full rules, including age, ID, arrival times and right of admission, are in the Guestlist Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Register with false names, someone else's phone number, or for people who have not agreed to attend.
- Use scripts, bots or bulk tools to register, scrape event or guest data, or otherwise access the site other than through a normal browser.
- Attempt to access the admin area, other people's registrations, or any part of the site not intended for you.
- Interfere with the site's operation, probe it for vulnerabilities, or overload it.
- Copy the site's content, photos, video or branding for commercial use, or present our events as your own.
- Use the site for anything unlawful.
We may remove registrations and block access where these rules are broken.
Our content
The site's design, text, logos, photographs, video, and the Alfa Entertainments name and marks belong to us or are used under licence from artists, venues and photographers. You may view and share links to our pages, and share event posters to tell friends about an event. Any other reproduction, modification or commercial use needs our written permission. Artist names and images appear with the artists' permission and remain theirs.
Third-party services and links
The site links to Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps, Google Calendar, Outlook and ticketing platforms, and loads analytics and advertising code from Google and Meta (described in the Privacy Policy). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or how they treat your data. Their terms apply when you use them.
Disclaimers
The site is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that event information will always be current, or that the site will meet your requirements. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties that are not expressly stated here.
Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on information on it, including travel, accommodation or other costs incurred for an event that changes or is cancelled, lost enjoyment, or loss of data. Our total liability to you in connection with the site, on any basis, is limited to ₹1,000.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected.
Your responsibility to us
If your breach of these terms causes us loss, including claims by third parties, you agree to compensate us for that loss and any reasonable costs of dealing with it.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes and availability
We may change these terms, and may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, at any time. Changes take effect when posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept them.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, contact us first at hello@alfaentertainment.in and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. Disputes that cannot be resolved are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, without prejudice to your right to approach a consumer forum where the law gives you one.
