These terms apply when you register for the guestlist of an event promoted by Alfa Entertainments and when you attend it. Submitting the form means you accept them for yourself and for every guest you add. Read them with the Code of Conduct and the Refunds and Cancellations policy.
What a guestlist registration is
Registering puts the names in your party on the door list for that event, so the door team can admit you on the terms shown on the event page (for example a reduced or waived cover charge until a stated time). Registration is free.
It is not a ticket, a reservation, or a guarantee of entry. Entry is subject to capacity, the venue's right of admission, and the rules below. Alfa Entertainments promotes and organises the event; the venue owns and operates the premises, its security, its bar and its food service, and sets and collects any door charge.
Who can attend
- You must be at least 18 to attend any of our events.
- Where alcohol is served, Karnataka law sets the minimum age at 21, and venues in Bengaluru apply 21-and-over entry. The venue's age rule for the event is final.
- Every guest must carry valid government photo ID: Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID. Photocopies and digital images are accepted only where the venue accepts them. No ID, no entry, whatever the guestlist says.
- The person registering must be one of the guests attending.
Your registration
- Give the real full name of each guest as it appears on their ID. Entries like "+1", initials or nicknames may be removed and the guest refused guestlist entry.
- One registration per phone number per event. To change your party, register again with the same names and the door list is updated; a second registration with different names may be flagged or removed as a duplicate.
- Choose the entry type honestly. Stag, ladies, couple and mixed entries carry different door terms, and the door team will apply the terms that match who actually arrives.
- We may remove any registration that is incomplete, false, made in bulk or by automated means, or made by someone previously removed from an event.
- Guestlist places may be limited. We may close registration early when the list is full.
Closing times and arrival
The guestlist closes at the time shown on the event page, or earlier if capacity is reached. Arrive before it closes with your whole party. Guests arriving after the closing time, or after any "guestlist entry until" time shown on the page, may be admitted at the venue's discretion on its standard door terms. Being on the list does not let you skip the venue's queue, security check or ID check.
Entry pricing and payments
- Entry prices on the event page are indicative and set by the venue. The price at the door on the night is final.
- Cover charges are paid to the venue at the door. Alfa Entertainments does not collect payments on the website. Where a cover charge is fully or partly redeemable against food and drink, the venue's rules on redemption apply.
- Where an event page links to tickets, the ticket is sold by a third-party platform on its terms, and your contract for it is with that platform.
- Taxes and service charges are as applied by the venue.
Right of admission
The venue and Alfa Entertainments reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the event, any person, without refund or compensation, including for:
- failing the age or ID requirements above;
- intoxication, or the possession or use of drugs or weapons;
- behaviour that breaches the Code of Conduct, or that staff reasonably consider a risk to others;
- not meeting the dress code shown on the event page or applied by the venue;
- the venue reaching capacity, or a direction from the police or licensing authorities;
- prior misconduct at one of our events.
Security staff may search bags and persons as a condition of entry, in line with the venue's practice.
Your conduct
You and your guests agree to follow the Code of Conduct, the venue's house rules, and reasonable instructions from staff and security. You are responsible for the conduct of the guests you register.
Alcohol and your safety
Alcohol is sold and served by the venue under its licence, and the venue may refuse service to anyone. Drink responsibly and do not drive after drinking. You are responsible for your own decisions about what you consume and for getting home safely. Alfa Entertainments is not responsible for the consequences of your intoxication.
If the event changes
- Lineup, timings and venue may change. Artists fall ill, flights are delayed, and authorities issue orders. A change of lineup or timing does not entitle you to compensation.
- Postponement. Your registration carries over to the new date unless the event page says otherwise. If you cannot make the new date you owe nothing.
- Cancellation. We announce it on the event page and on Instagram, and we try to reach registered guests by phone or message. Our responsibility to you is as set out in Refunds and Cancellations. We do not reimburse travel, accommodation or other costs you incur.
- Events beyond our control such as severe weather, police or licensing directions, curfews, venue closure, power failure, strikes, public health orders or artist illness may force changes or cancellation, and neither we nor the venue is liable for them.
Check the event page before you travel.
Photography and filming
Our events are photographed and filmed for promotion, and you may appear in that material. By attending you acknowledge this. The details, and how to opt out, are in the Photography and Filming Notice.
Belongings, injury and the premises
The venue is responsible for the premises, security, cloakroom, and the food and drink it sells. You attend at your own risk to the extent the law allows. Alfa Entertainments is not liable for loss of or damage to your belongings, or for injury, except where caused by our own negligence or wilful default. Report any incident to venue staff and to our team on the night so it can be dealt with and recorded.
Damage you cause
You are liable for damage to the venue, its property or other people caused by you or the guests you registered, and you agree to reimburse us for any amount we are required to pay because of it. We may also refuse you entry to future events.
Table reservations
Phone numbers shown for table reservations connect you to our team or the venue. A reservation, its minimum spend, timing and any deposit are agreed on that call and are set by the venue on its terms. They are not part of the guestlist and are not made through the website.
How we contact you
We may contact you about the event you registered for by call, SMS or WhatsApp, for example to confirm your registration or tell you about a change. We do not send promotional messages without your separate agreement. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle your details.
Limits on our responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including travel, accommodation, lost time or lost enjoyment; we are not liable for the acts or omissions of the venue, its staff, its security, other guests or performers; and our total liability to you in connection with an event, on any basis, is limited to the amount you paid to Alfa Entertainments for that event, if any.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 are not affected.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, without prejudice to any right you have to approach a consumer forum.
